PH is simply a metric which indicates the intensity (strength) of acid or alkaline levels of any substance.
Most of cooked, processed food (especially meat) are highly acidic, and contributes much to building an acidic environment within our bodies. This is very bad for our health in the long term, and can bring rise to a multitude of diseases and illnesses.
Therefore, it is recommended that we consume more vegetables (check out the chart) in our daily diet to balance things out.
